Moringa Hamburg
In the heart of the Elbbrückenquartier district, Moringa Hamburg is Germany's first residential high-rise built according to the Cradle-to-Cradle® principle. Sustainable materials, urban greening, and forward-looking architecture set new standards for healthy living.
AFBA supports the development of Moringa Hamburg
Moringa Hamburg marks the beginning of a new chapter in urban sustainability. The aim is to create a living environment that meets the highest standards in terms of indoor climate, environmental compatibility, and quality of life. Together with leading partners, AFBA is developing a building that combines health standards with modern urban design—for a livable, green future in the heart of HafenCity.
Moringa Hamburg – Sustainability meets urban quality of life
Moringa represents a new generation of construction: 192 modern rental apartments, complemented by co-living, daycare, restaurants, and co-working spaces, create a diverse living environment. Green facades and a well-thought-out recycling concept enable an environmental balance that goes far beyond conventional construction. 80% of the materials used are removable and sorted by type – a real statement for circular economy and healthy architecture.
