Health - the most important investment
Planning in a targeted manner and consciously selecting materials sounds like extra work at first. But those who take this path are usually rewarded.
Health is wealth!
Allergies are a real common ailment. But only those who know these health burdens in concrete figures can understand the extent to which they affect our society. After all, the costs they incur are immense:
151 billion in avoidable annual costs caused by allergies in the EU
Prof. Carsten Schmidt-Weber
Institute Director, Center for Allergy and Environment (ZAUM) Technical University and Helmholtz Zentrum München
“We found that pollen under high ozone exposure showed more severe reactions in skin tests than pollen with other site conditions”
12kg
of air we breathe on average per day
30x
More polluted: According to the WHO, indoor air is up to 30 times more polluted than outdoor air
Small differences, big impact
Allergy triggers are usually microscopic. But the effects are immense. Even a “simple cold” or watery eyes are defense mechanisms of the human body and should be taken seriously.
However, our solutions can be just as inconspicuous as the triggers of allergies. It is often a simple, targeted replacement of building materials, adhesives, paints or materials that creates a completely new quality. Small changes have a big impact.
Better doesn't have to be more expensive
Together, we find alternatives and solutions for allergy-friendly building. This is never about selling specific products, but always about medically proven alternatives that improve the quality of life in buildings on a daily basis. It can also happen that allergy-friendly materials directly save resources and money, as it is not uncommon for the necessary overview of common options to be lacking during construction.
At the end of the day, however - and we are firmly convinced of this - allergy-friendliness pays off anyway. After all, users, investors and building owners all benefit equally from the increase in quality of life, manpower and general well-being.
